32 and NOT counting

32.  I think 32 would be a good age to be for the rest of my life...don't you think?!  I haven't noticed a big difference between my 20s and 30s yet, except that I have more responsibilities (aka kids) now than I did then.  And I do not feel old, except for those days when I am running on little sleep, which seems like a lot lately because little Maximus seems to want some company 3-4 times a night.  My pregnancy in my 30s seemed harder than those in my 20s, but maybe that is also because it was baby number 5, not 1.  Overall, my 30s have treated me well so far.

That being said, my birthday plans were much quieter this year.  All I wanted to do was play a few games as a family, watch a movie, and just hang around the house.  I didn't want to cook but I didn't want to go out or order in either, so the day before, I made lasagna so it was ready to pop in the oven the next day.  It was a great lazy day filled with cards, phone calls, and family time!

After mass.  Love all the coordinating outfits!

Loves me some homemade lasagna!!!

Poor Ava had a fever that day.  She even fell asleep sitting up at mass!
So I had some good snuggle time with her after dinner.

The Saturday after my birthday, Paul and I were invited to one of the local distributor's annual
company party.  This was the 4th or 5th year we have attended, and probably our last since we won't be in Louisville anymore.  I always look forward to the night out: good food, good company, and best of all DANCING!!!  It was Mardi Gras theme this year, which meant we had an excuse to dress a little crazier than usual ;)

Even Paul went all out with the vest, tie, and mask!

We had the best time...if you can't tell from the picture below!  Haha!  I think it had been a while since I had really been out for a fun date night with Paul.  I kept telling him how much fun I was having!
It helps that he is a fun and crazy date :)

The band they hired was Endless Summer Band, which I believe was the band that played at our friends Stephanie and Rob's wedding years ago.  I remember talking about how they were amazing then,
and they are still just as amazing now!!!

So sad it will be our last year to go to the party.  I decided we need to have more dance parties every year.  Dancing keeps you feeling young...I am convinced!  (It helps that I love it too;)
